Doctor Amber Wobbekind MD, MPH
After earning my medical degree from University of Colorado School of Medicine and completing residency at George Washington University in Washington DC, I returned to my home state of Colorado to start my medical career as an internal medicine doctor. It has been a dream come true for me to open my own direct primary care practice in the Denver area. When opening The Golden Stethoscope, it was my goal to practice medicine in a meaningful, preventative and personalized way for my patients. I believe in the benefits of creating cost-effective, direct pay healthcare that allows patients and their doctors to develop a real relationship and work independently of third parties such as insurance companies. That’s why I opted to start a no-insurance doctor’s office using the direct primary care model. By removing the middlemen, it means I can focus on what truly matters: you and your health.
