Dr. Wobbekind is a board-certified internal medicine physician with a Master's in Public Health. She practiced in conventional settings long enough to know exactly what's wrong with them — and built The Golden Stethoscope to do it differently.

Her concierge model gives her the time to be the doctor she trained to be: thorough, available, and focused entirely on the person in front of her. She handles primary care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and women's health — all under one roof.

She's based in Golden, CO, and serves patients throughout the Denver metro area.

What makes this different from a regular primary care doctor?+
In a traditional practice, physicians see 20–30 patients per day. Dr. Wobbekind limits her panel to a fraction of that. The result: longer visits, same-day access, and a doctor who actually knows you. You're not a chart — you're a patient she's invested in.
Does this replace my health insurance?+
No — and we're upfront about that. The membership covers all primary care with Dr. Wobbekind, but you'll still want insurance (or a cost-sharing plan) for hospitalizations, specialist care, imaging, and major procedures. Think of this as replacing your primary care costs, not your entire healthcare safety net.
What does the $245/month include?+
Everything in primary care: visits, preventive care, chronic disease management, women's health, hormone therapy, telehealth, labs review, medication management, and direct access to Dr. Wobbekind. No per-visit fees, no copays. The only things not included are specialist referrals, hospitalization, imaging, and procedures outside our office.
How quickly can I actually get an appointment?+
Same-day or next-day for most requests. That's by design — when your panel is small, availability is real. Urgent concerns get addressed the same day, either in person or by phone.
Is there a contract?+
Yes — membership requires a 12-month commitment. This is how we keep the panel stable and ensure continuity of care. After the first year, membership renews on a rolling basis.
Can I still use my insurance for labs and specialists?+
Absolutely. We can order labs through your insurance, or offer deeply discounted in-house lab pricing if you prefer to bypass it. For specialist referrals, we coordinate and communicate directly — so when you see a specialist, they're working from the same picture we have.
